4" Grandmaster Series Chess Pieces - Acacia

I had a set of well-weighted plastic pieces. They moved well but they just didn't look right with the wooden board.
The Acacia pieces were exactly what I was missing. They look great. They are heavy enough for swift play. But also (and this is something I could not have known until I got them) the feel of the wood in your hand is much more proper. There is life in each piece, lending meaning to each move. This is how Chess is meant to be played.
I still have plastic pieces for travel, but THIS is the set I come home to.

Outstanding product, they are crafted really well. The knight has excellent detail, the queen and king are perfectly weighted. Very satisfied with this product, I originally chose another set of pieces that came with the grandmaster combo set I purchased they were unavailable and I chose these as a replacement. Very satisfied with this item.

This is the best combination with the JLP board I bought also from you. They came with foam padded cut out shaped boxes instead of the bags, much nicer. Thanks so much.

These pieces are a perfect match with my 20" JLP chess board (also from Chess House). Quality is outstanding. I thought these 4" pieces maybe a bit to big for the 2" squares but the base measurement of biggest piece (king) only covered 81% of the square. This is still pretty good as long as it is not more than 85%. Along with outstanding customer service what more could you ask for? Thank you Chess House!

The look and feel of these pieces are amazing. They also have high quality felt on the bottom to protect the surface of you board. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice set - shape of the pieces is great, but the pawns are rather light and have a hollow feel.

I’m very happy with these tournament size chess pieces they are very large and weighted, and feel very nice in my hand. It is a pleasure to use these pieces.

Great looking set, very happy with it, fast delivery.
Only complaint is that it was not made clear that a extra import/customs fee was going to be applied
It’s an extra £30 I wasn’t expecting
Costs like that should be included in the sale price so you know the full cost involved, or at least make you aware that additional costs may be applied.

Great set! My family loves it, perfect size, great quality.

This is a beautiful chess set. The colors seem to match the board even better than the set we purchased with it. The heavier weight of the pieces is also preferred.

This set is of very nice quality. It was given as a gift to my father and he was very impressed with the quality
