About The 4" Executive Chessmen - Ebonized
The Executive is a distinctive, elegant, and prominent style with bold lines and a confident knight. The very large, weighted chessmen feel luxurious with their polished, clear-stained finish.
Felted bases for effortless moves on a chessboard make the chessmen a delight to play on any wooden chess board of suitable size. The King is a full 4" tall, and the King's base will be suitable for a chessboard with squares averaging 2 1/4" to 2.5”.
The 34 pieces including extra queens are carefully handcrafted in Boxwood and ebonized Boxwood by master woodworkers in India.

I really love this set. The attention to detail is just fantastic. It has such a nice feel in the hands while you playing . They are well balanced and difficult to knock over accidentally. I chose chesshouse.live because of their well earned wonderful reviews. Let me tell you I have been working with Paul Adams, and the level of service I have received from him is second to none. I was just taken back at the promptness and professionalism he delivered. This is what makes the difference in the long run folks. It’s not saving a few bucks by price shopping a million sites… it’s about how you are treated. I always look for the whole package, and chesshouse.live provides that easily. So buy with confidence my friends.
Pieces met expectations for a fine professional tournament set. Ebonized boxwood and boxwood pieces well crafted and a pleasure to play and display. Thanks to Chess House and Staff for great service.
These are nice pieces, one of the pawns arrived broken and was replaced free of charge right away, the only issue I had with them is that the tops of the rooks did not have varnish on them which is why I only gave them 4 stars, I fixed this with a bottle of clear nail polish. I would recommend this set and, as always, the staff at ChessHouse was awesome.
My initial choice of pieces were not available and the guys at Chess House were very helpful in suggesting the Executive Chessmen set. A fantastic set of pieces; well crafted and perfect size with matching weight and balance. Very quick delivery and packaged well.
Thank you all!
