3 3/4" Standard Staunton chess Pieces #6

Matched board perfectly and sized just right. As pictured. My only complaint would be that some of the felt on the bottom was not centered and the green felt can be seen peaking out the side.

The chess pieces have a nice wood finish look and good weight, the set looks beautiful on my wood board I had for years. I bought another set, the 3-3/4' Heavy club & tournament pieces, for my 8 year-old grandson to prepare him for his first tournament! He loved it. Overall it was a great value for the purchase price and excellent delivery follow through with updates via text and email. I am a fan of Chess House now!!!

Quality is pretty good, weight is nice. I do wish there was an option for extra queens.

The chess set was delivered in the mail quickly and the color and size was the perfect match for the chess board that I made. This is the second chess set I have ordered from this source and I have been very happy with both sets.

The chess pieces we ordered are a good for everyday use. They are weighted perfectly. We were lucky to find pieces that match the color and size perfectly with the chess board my husband made.

The website was easy to use and the order was delivered quickly. Thank you.

Great service and follow up

The pieces arrived safely. I was surprised they were all jumbled together in a plastic bag. I took them out and checked them and repackaged them nicely in a box. It is a gift for my nephew. It will be a good started set of pieces, but hoping to get a much nicer set later. He has a chessboard of wood, handmade by his great grandfather.

Starter wooden pieces for beginners, and it is good deal for price.
However, some white pieces were not coated nicely, and looked like a rotten wooden pieces.. (they had dark stain on surface).
I will order #5 version of these pieces and see what happens.

My dad was pleased with the chess pieces he received. He liked the look and feel and size of the pieces.

If you need a no frills wood chess set, this one may work for you. I could have ordered it from Amazon for about $8 less but needed to get my order up to $75 to get free shipping and I needed a no frills wood set, so I got it here. It has enough weight to be very playable, weighed in at 27 ounces. I play in tournaments with an old Drueke players choice plastic set at 44 ounces so I need a speed chess set and this is it. Not the end of the world if I drop one and it breaks or if the weights fall out due to speed chess abuse. Plays better than the uscf club special set at 16 ounces. Good value. I like it when smaller companies can compete with Amazon, even if they can't beat em every time. Will buy more from the chess store. Good on you.

The chess pieces were a gift for my husband. He loved them. Was impressed with the classic style, said they were perfectly weighted. He is pleased!

Nice, sturdy pieces with a good weight to them that are well suited to complement the 12”x12” board I am making out of walnut and maple. Got to my house faster than an Amazon prime order I placed the same day.
