About The Giant PVC Flex Chess Mat for Indoor or Outdoor Use
Our flexible giant mat provides an easy to setup up playing board for 25" Giant Chess Pieces and Checkers. It's safety ramp edges and easy setup/take-down design make it a superior choice.
One mat provides an 8ft x 8ft play mat. If you have plenty of space and wish extra walking room between pieces, four mats double the size to 16ft x 16ft (scroll through photos for size comparison). You'll find special pricing when you order 4 at a time.
This mat can be set up in less than 10 minutes with minimal effort because the mat is flexible and interlocks well.
The slip resistant, puddle proof, mesh design allows for water drainage in wet areas.
The indoor and outdoor use mat has 64 flexible PVC interlocking 11 5/8" squares (32 white and 32 black).
All squares of the chessboard are identical so that they can be assembled in any order. Safety ramp edges and corner pieces included.
Each tile has holes at each corner to allow secure mounting to a surface, making it ideal for events or long term placement.
If you prefer a quick fold nylon chess board that's sets up in 10 seconds instead of 10 minutes, see the Nylon Chess Mat style.

Product Specs
It is durable, easy to put together, and looks great!
Chess mat is great except we didn’t receive the outside border that makes it look complete.
fabulous
Fast and Friendly service on this Order, glad the teacher was able to find this website and submit for order.
The mat is very good quality but a couple days later we received a box of giant chess pieces which we did not order.
Could you send a call tag so we can get them back to you.
Can these mats be left out in colder winter weather? Are these all-weather proof? Thanks!
The board can be left out in the colder winter weather. We do recommend, though, that if you don't expect to use it for extended periods of time that it be broken down and stored. This will help extend the life of the board to its fullest.
What kind of prep work is needed in the spot where the tiles would go for a semi-permanent installation?
I would say the only thing really is that the area is flat so the board can lay flat.
I have the white and black interlocking squares, but I need a mat or foundation to place them on outside to keep it stable. Do you sell just the foundation for a 10'x10' checkers/chessboard?
Carla, I don't have a a foundation of any type for an interlocking board, sorry!
Does it include chess pieces?
Caitlyn, no, that is just the board. Here is a link to the pieces though https://www.chesshouse.live/collections/giant-chess/products/25-giant-chess-pieces
