27" Vinyl Slot-in Style Demo Board With Pieces

Perfect teaching tool. The Demo Board allows for everyone to see. We use it for solving puzzles together, working through problems, and for having fun! What a great resource for self-learning, demonstrating and observing a different view of the chess board!

Ordered this it came very quickly, got it all unboxed and the two black rooks were missing, got ahold of the company, they quickly responded. And I guess there sending me an entire new set, don't know cause its tak8ng longer than the original one took to get here, I just hope all the pieces are in this next one.

it is wonderful my great friend has recently become paralyzed so i made an easel and hang the vinyl chess board on the easel he tells me the piece to move .thanks for the quick service . GARY

While I have not had an opportunity to actually use the demo board yet, it seems as advertised. Arranging the shipping was handled very well. Now I just need to find an inexpensive easel to hang the board on. :-)

This works well when there are too many people to crowd around a regular chess board to see an interesting chess situation.

Loved the presentation board! It’s a big hit with our chess team and looking forward to using it a lot.

The slots are a little hard to use in the beginning. It is a good an effective tool to use in the club room. The kids love it.

I agree with some of the reviews that the colors of the pieces aren’t super well contrasted the board, but it’s still easy to tell which color is which, assuming no vision issues. The board and pieces feel very nice, I think it will last a long time.

I am not as happy with this demonstration board as I am with the one that came with the starter kit.
It will be OK as a second.
The colors are dull and as easy to place in & out of the slots.

Very impressed with the quality of this board!

I recommend painting the edge of the pieces it makes them easier to see.i painted the edges of mine it made a huge diference .

We used it for the first time at our chess club meeting at school. It was extremely helpful in showing students how to notate.

This will be great for demonstrating Chess, the kids will love this. It’s practical and clear, I love the way it looks.

We love our demo chess board. We bought it as a wall hanging. When it came, we were a little disappointed that the hanging itself was kind of wavy - like the vinyl wasn't 100% laid flat when they stitched it; and it smell *very* vinyl-y.

We used a cool iron over a bathroom towel and ironed it flat (or flat enough), and just let it hang around outside for a day or two. It flattened out and the smell went away almost 100%. So we're happy customers. Personally, I wish we could have gotten this in different colors (or even colors of our choice). I don't really love the color of the white pieces, but it's fine. And it's a really cool addition to our livingroom. We learned of this by watching The Backyard Professor on Youtube. He uses this very model on his channel. We loved it. At first we thought it was something he made for himself; but after a short Googfest, we found you! It's the exact same on the BYP uses!

Must have for anyone who loves chess and who wants to make chess more a part of their daily lives.

All the best to you!

The items were perfect. Thank you for sending the items promptly!

Received items quickly and my coaches and their students love them!

The slots into which the pieces fit are too small for the pieces - not "a little tight" - just too small. I am going to have to take an exacto knife to the board to get the pieces to fit.

Cheap, compact, and I like the shoulder strap on the carrying 'tube'.

Good deal ! Thx.

I have this board for about 3 month, easy to use. Kids love it to solve puzzles.
