Exceeded expectations

Wanted a regulation set forever. Shopping experience and product quality is unmatched.
Thank you!

Almost perfect

Solid craftsmanship, minor defect with it probably being shipped and or sitting on a shelf. There are other marks on the top of the board as well (indented as if something fell on it). I opted for the one with coordinates, but it was unavailable and the basic one was sent to me. #COVID-19 problems. Hopefully I can exchange it soon...

Excellent. Beautiful board and pieces.

Fantastic!

Chess pieces are elegent and sturdy. The board as well. A great product.

First official chess set!

This is our first official chess set and we are very, very happy with our purchase. We love the weight and feel of the game pieces and the board with coordinates is really nice. Packaging was great and everything arrived as scheduled.

Excellent quality

Pieces exactly what I hoped for. Excellent craftsmanship and finish. Nice size and weight. Very pleased. Nice packaging I hated to discard.

Grandmaster Chess Set

Nice chess set for the money. Very well made. The pieces are weighted and the craftsmanship is beautiful. Arrived earlier than expected and everything was intact.

Good deal

The only issue I had was that the board seemed to be veneered.
Minor issue really. Solid, well built, pieces are weighted and have
good heft. The box is sturdy, with thick sides and good hardware.
Make sure and go through the packing for your piece bags.

Fantastic service

I'm very pleased with the set. The ordering process was easy and everything arrived quickly. Unfortunately there was slight damage to the board in transit and the guys at Chess House were very prompt in offering a replacement and sending it out quickly. I chose the black board and the ebonized pieces which match perfectly. The 4" pieces are an ideal size (weight and balance) and the craftsmanship is of good quality.
Thank you guys!

Great Gift

I purchased this set as a gift for my husband who loves chess. His set was very old and he needed an update. He LOVES this set. It is classic and the large board and pieces are great.
