18" Ferrer Walnut Chess Board

A nice board with quality veneer, not too heavy and nicely felted feet. Happy to report it looks exceptional with the championship set with German knight

We love our new chess board. The 18” is a generous size—slightly larger than we envisioned. It’s a new family heirloom, which we combined with a set of pieces from our grandparents.

I was looking for a quality board at a reasonable price. It was important to me that the board NOT BE FOLDABLE. I wanted something rigid I could place on a rotating pedestal for study. This fit the bill nicely. Very good quality.

My dad has nice pieces and a crummy board with stains and no coordinates, so this board was perfect for a birthday gift to replace the crummy one. Surface is smooth, elegant, visually appealing. The letters on the side are nice and big, for the farsighted crowd, but not distracting. We have only just begun to enjoy this chess set for many years to come. Zero complaints. Well worth the money for this craftsmanship.

This is for a gift and was shipped in perfect condition and fast. The chessboard is beautiful just as described , thank you very much

I have the heavy/expensive chest pieces that were my dad's who passed away. I needed something that was quality wood and sturdy enough for the pieces. This board is also a work of art.

This is a good looking board, just what I wanted.

The smallest 2" board I could find, with notation. Bonus, its lowercase! Perfect condition, shipped with care and super speedy.
