SINGLE REPLACEMENT PIECES: Mexican Onyx Pieces - White

These extra pawns matched my set very well. A couple of pawns from the original set - purchased in Tiajuana circa 1991 - "lost their heads" as it were. These replacements are wonderful. I purchased two each of white and black. I hope a white queen becomes available sometime because she also lost her head at some point (currently glued back on in a very amateurish manner, by me) and that would be $13 very well spent.

I ordered a WHITE Mexican Onyx King expecting it, from the picture, to be in good condition. However, I was very disappointed when it arrived. It has been poorly repaired many times and is discolored. It's supposed to be white but it's a very discolored off white. I am only keeping it because it would cost more to return it than I paid for it. I guess I'll just keep looking for the replacement King because this one cannot possible be displayed with the other pieces.

Replacement piece came as described and fits into my set perfectly!

received only 2 pieces correct material and 1 out the 2 were chipped

The piece we received is made of a different material and is a different off-white than what is pictured (more of a tan; not the grayish marble-white). It does not match our original set at all.

I was initially concerned about recieving a matching piece for my chess set, and justifiably so...they would not provide a picture of the piece I was to receive and they sent me an ugly looking mismatched piece. However, after my complaint, they promptly corrected the problem at no cost to me. While the process of finding a matching piece is difficult, they have great customer service.

I ordered two rooks some time ago and was told that they were currently unavailable but that they would contact me when they were. True to their word, I was contacted when the pieces were available and my order was filled quickly. The pieces were a perfect match.

Matched exactly, sure hope the dog doesn’t eat this one. Thank you.
