SINGLE REPLACEMENT PIECES: Marble Chess Pieces for 14 or 16" Boards with 3 1/2" King (Green / White / Black)

My father lost a pawn from his marble chess set, and to be honest, I had a very little hope that I’d find a matching pawn. I looked everywhere and at some point found this website. They had it! It was not expensive, the shipping was fast, and thanks to Chess House my father has a full set again. The color, shape and size were an exact match, I couldn’t believe it. Thank you again, you saved me a lot of time.

sent wrong piece. got two white kings. needed one white king and one white queen.

Okay, I'll admit it. I don't actually have a chess set at home. I mainly wanted a white rook because of a book I read in which it was integral to the plot. They didn't have the rook available at the time, so I got the white knight. It's so cute. But now I've finally gotten the rook, and can I say that I really like the style of this set! My *only* complaint (and it's just a dumb nitpick, really) is that whatever coating or varnish is on the marble isn't quite as smooth as I was hoping it would be. But I'm pretty sure that's just a manufacturing thing. The pieces look wonderful and it's really cool that they offer you a free "how to play" booklet with your purchase. Maybe I'll actually learn to play someday! Also, they ship your order super quick and it arrived very quickly as well. Excellent service yet again!

I needed a replacement piece for my son in law’s chess set. The set had belonged to his grandfather who died last year. He played chess long distance with his grandfather and so it held precious meaning to him. The marble replacement piece arrived quickly and it was perfect for his chess set! The description of the piece made me know it was a great match.
