.
Overall I am very pleased with my order. It took a little longer arriving than I expected but when I reached out about my order I received a prompt response and was told why it was taking a little longer. The checker set appears to be pretty good quality also and my husband and I have been enjoying it and we hope to enjoy it for many more years to come! Thank you!
Very beautiful set. No blemishes or imperfections. Well make. Timely from the date of order.
It’s a nice board, made of wood and painted with wood playing pieces. I received both the black & red checker pieces, unlike the unfortunate person who reviewed before me. I received my order fairly quickly and packaged very well. My only reason for docking the 2 stars is because of the price (!) - when I look at this board it does not look like a nearly $50 board, nor do the pieces. It’s better than anything plastic though. But the craftsmanship is just “eh”. Some of the black paint on the check pattern came a bit scratched/worn looking, even before we played 1 game. I was just expecting it to look much more beautifully crafted in person.
It’s a fine board
I really like the board and checkers, but the board arrived scared and the edges of the holes where the checkers rest were worn through the finish exposing bare wood.
Does the board to this checkers set look orange like the pictures show?
Mike, it isn't orange, it is more of a mahogany, it is hard wood through and through.
How do I get replacement checker pieces
