Chess House Drawstring Bag

Thank you chess house so much for shipping me these bags with my commander Staunton chess pieces! I've made hand-sewn bags for myself in the past and when I got these with my chess pieces I could not be more pleased they are tough canvas bags that are just the perfect size for me

Just what I wanted, low cost good quality. Purchased two bags one for black & one for white. Fit perfect in my US Chess bag.

The pieces and board are great quality for the price. The board does not wrinkle like cheaper boards. Only wish there was extra queens for both sides, otherwise 5/5, exceeded expectations.

From the order of my DGT Centaur, to the fantastic carrying case they got me for it, to chess pieces and tossing in little goodies just because, and enjoying a good chat from time to time I have enjoyed my relationship with Chess House. I've looked at all the rest, and there are some great stores out there, but Chess House just sets the bar higher than all the rest. They love what they are doing and it shows. From something simple, to a fine heirloom chess board and everything in-between you simple are not going to go wrong with chess house. And if something does "GO WRONG" they go way way over and beyond to ensure that whatever happened they make it right. Google search and see for yourself to see if you can find anything bad or complaints about them, there are few if any companies that can make that claim, Chess House is one, They get a thumbs up from me!!!

This is the ideal chess set for myself. Before I buy anything, I do as much research as possible. But sadly, I made the mistake of buying a chess set (similar to the Economical #5 Flex Chess Set) through Amazon. Finally, after having sent back the other one, I found everything I needed and wanted through Chess House. (I did want weighted chessmen but didn’t want to spend the extra money at the moment..) I am enjoying the size of the chess set immensely! Chess House has wonderful core values and the founders have created such a beautiful company that not only produces extraordinary chess sets, but helps children in the Washington state area (where I now reside) learn how to play chess. Pros:
-light enough to travel (esp. if you travel on planes)
-ideal for living and spending time in small spaces such as campers, hotels, trains, etc.)
-Chess House told me I can wash the Flex Pad in cold water on delicate, then set out to dry, if it gets dirty or stained
-if you have dogs, the hair that might be on the floors and surfaces, will gently come off with a swipe of a hand instead of embedding itself in the Flex Pad material (unlike clothes, carpets, blankets, etc.)
-Flex Pad is FLEXible and can be folded or rolled up to store away without creating creases in the flex pad
-one white drawstring bag can hole all 32 chessmen, is thick and well made
-the wooden chessmen are beautiful, sturdy, and heavy enough to not simply topple over (though I have not tested this out on a windy day)

Cons:
-so far, I have no complaints

Within a few chapters, I’ve learned more than I ever have. My father and brothers know how to play chess but it’s been challenging learning how to play the game from how they teach and I’ve so desperately wanted to be able to play with them. This board is 100 time much better than the vinyl. It lay flat and easy to fold.
The pieces are well made, and very solid.
When I received this Chess Set (On Time), the cross of one of the King was loose. I reached out Chess House about this, and they sent me another piece to replace it.

Before and after a tournament game it’s awkward to unpile your black and white pieces from your larger chess bag. These smaller bags fit into the chess bag piece compartments. You easily pull out these smaller bags onto the table and set up is much easier.

Wonderful soft bag, but I wish ChessHouse would offer a dark color bag. This so we can keep the two colors separate.

Nicely made. Had a weird smell after opening bag. Went away after a while. Disappointed it didn’t come with extra queens.

I wish there was a smaller version where you can place the white pieces in one bag and the black pieces in the other, so they would fit into my carrying bag, as all the pieces in one bag is too big to fit into my carrying bag.

I ordered 4 drawstring chess piece bags for our 2 chess sets. Quality of bag is heavy and drawstring is thick will hold up with lots of use. The Chess House logo gives a classy look completing a professional look with the board as well as being useful. Highly recommend for yourself or as a gift.

These bags came with my chess pieces. They are just the right size, and are made of very thick, heavy fabric, with heavy drawstrings at the top. Nice.
