About The Black and Red Alabaster Chess Set with Wood Frame

Alabaster creates some of the most beautiful and unique chess sets on the market today. Made from natural stone in Italy these chess sets are dyed to their unique color. With the varying veins in the stone and the different rates each chess set takes the dye, you will find that no two sets are exactly the same!

This set features a nice translucent black and red set of alabaster chess pieces on a matching board, a 3 inch king and felted bases on each of the chess pieces. These chess sets will catch the light like no other, and catch the eye like an impressive chess set should. With this beautiful chess set you pay for impressive quality all the way from Italy.

Beautiful & unique chess set. Masterpiece.

High end & unique colors.

Do you have a black vs white version of this

Killian

The set is beautiful but, I purchased the chess set for my grandson for his birthday which is May 6. It will be a few days before I can give you a good review.

Excellent Fit.

Coolest chess set I have ever owned. Arrived in great condition. Wish the red pieces and spaces were a few shades darker, but guess that can't really be helped with the type of material. In any case, it complements the black coffee table in the den perfectly, and lends just the classic appearance I'm trying to give the apartment. Worth every penny.

What kind of chess box or protective storage for the chess pieces comes with this chess set (or is available as an option to purchase)?

Chess House

Nick, this specific set comes in sturdy styrofoam packing material and than in a cardboard box but not necessarily for long term storage. If you want more of long term storage we do sell the Alabaster sets with storage boards, https://www.chesshouse.live/collections/alabaster-chess-sets there are two in stock right now.

Do you have a rough date for when this set will be back in stock?

Chess House

Liam, we hope to have more of them in stock in October we do have these right now though https://www.chesshouse.live/collections/alabaster-chess-sets

Does this set come with additional queens?

Chess House

Liam, no sorry it doesn't.
