Basic Starter Chess Set Combo

Great portable set

I acquired this set to play chess on the go. On top of being a solid set it also resembled the sets I would use for my schools chess team.

Basic Starter Chess Set Combo

Customer Service is outstanding. Product always as advertised. Greatly pleased.

Worked with Paul who was super helpful as always. I've dealt with Paul on several occasions, and he has always been great to work with. Of course, the products are as expected. Never been anything but greatly pleased. A customer forever.

You can never have too many Queens!

Love these boards! They are standing up well to teenage pawn pushers in after school chess club. Durable yet light and easy to tote, which is good since I often have to transport them myself . I wasn't expecting the extra queens for promotion --not all sets offer them--so this is a bonus!!

Perfect for beginners and veteran chess players!

Captivating in the classroom! Impressive quality chess sets and accessories!!

Great set!

This is a great chess set! It's easy to store and the perfect size! The chess pieces have a nice feel to them and the bases are covered in felt. I'm very pleased with the quality and the price point!

Basic Starter Chess Set Combo

Another gift set for a young beginning chess player. The board and pieces are just the right size for young hands. The combo (with bag) makes it easy to carry and keep track of all the pieces. Availability of large palette of colors permits “favorite color” choices. So many options of color and size make choosing fun and personal.
Quality products, quick shipping and outstanding customer service are icing on the cake.

Grandchild

Grandchildren getting older and can start learning chess which I’ve always liked but no one to play with for years. Now the next generation can learn this great game. Love the large mat & pieces I’ve received, it was more than I was expecting.

Exactly what I wanted!

Well designed for use and travel

My son loves it. Wide board,

Love the wide board. It’s so comfortable to think with such space

Great set!

Was looking for a well priced starter set and this was it! Excellent!

Very nice

Tournament quality excellent chess set I would recommend to anyone..

Great Basic Set!

I’m a new chess player, and I play alone against the computer, or online most of the time. However, I’d like to be able to start playing against other people in person eventually.

This set will be perfect for that. It’s well made at a great price, and I love that there are color options.

I really like that the board rolls up. It will make it easy to carry on my bicycle, and that will be ideal.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Amazing

Great for travel! Great quality!!

Chess Starter Combo

Excellent quality. Very convenient to travel with it too.

Nostalgic

I remember being in chess club in elementary school and we always used these sets! I love the vinyl smell and the quality is great! This just brings me back to my geek days being in chess club and competing 😅😅😅
Thanks guys for the set! This was my first purchase from chess house, I’ll definitely be coming back :)

Great set

Great quality for the price. Highly recommend if you are looking for a set.

Great set with durable pieces and carry bag.

Nice set

Just what I was looking for in an affordable chess set. While I would prefer a rigid wooden board this is much easier to transport and the case keeps everything together with no fuss or bother. The pieces are substantial and the quality is excellent at this price point. Recommended!

Great set. Just what we needed

Set was simple, clean, portable, lightweight,… Perfect for a beginner who wants to just take it with them and have fun wherever they go.

great chess set

Great Chess set. I like how weighted and big the pieces are. Delayed delivery but that is to be expected with Fedex.

Great chess set

Exactly what we wanted a solid, easy to play on and simple chess set to teach our child. Thank you.

Good prices

Great items for grandkids!

Wonderful

Never played before wanted a simple clear set- this is the best quality set I found.
Good weight, nice feeling, each piece is simple and distinct.

I am attempting to teach myself chess.
This set makes it clear To use.

Powerful odor

Set came with a noxious chemical order which took a few days to dissipate. Otherwise a nice set.

As usual, your chess sets are great. I bought this one for my grand sons and they really like the blue vinyl chess board. They love it and ask me to play whenever I visit.
