Analysis Chess Set

Everything is very nice,,, looks good, and A+ quality. If I had one suggestion, the pawn pieces seem a little thin for the board. But that could certainly be more of a personal opinion, rather than the established sizing for piece/board setup.
Overall, very happy with the purchase, as it more than meets my needs.

It's OK for analysis; in hindsight, I wish I'd stepped up to a set with larger, heavier pieces.

I gave this to my son who is a great outdoor adventurer and he loved it. It is so light and compact, yet a great size board. The women taking my order was so nice and helpful and delivery was very quick.

This is basically what I expected. I wish the felt stickers on the bottom were adhered a little bit more nicely - they are buckled on a couple of the pieces. All in all, this is perfect. The bag is really too big but the dimensions are listed so it's not a complaint just a comment.

Smaller than tournament size but far from mini. Big enough for a comfortable game on any table. Board lays flat and pieces are quality plastic pieces. I am very happy for the price I paid.

This set serves perfectly the purpose for which I bought it. That reason was to have it alongside a larger set where I study games. The smaller set can
hold the current position as I explore variations in the studied game. My surprise was that I am using the analysis set more than the larger set. The pieces
are a good size to deal with both both visually and tactilely.

As I noted in another review....not sure what you could ask for in a set at this price point. It looks good, is a great size for working out problems and games in books and magazines, etc. It's really very nice. In fact, I am thinking of starting up a chess club in my local area and these sets in any of the three sizes are so reasonably priced that I would be able to afford to buy 10 or more to get things going. Recommended.

As advertised. Small, very light weight. Until someone makes a weighted analysis set like the one that Drueke produced, it will due.

The peices are perfect size same with the board very good looking peices as well for a very good price too the peices are definitley not too small i could play a real chess game with this board no problem and it is a very clean board and the chess board and peices come in a very good shape and it makes it way easier for me to analyze and take my knowledge from the computer to the real chess board

Really nice analysis set. Board folds up nicely into the included pouch. Perfect size and price for travel, backup, and solo. Really wish someone would make a premium analysis set with silicon board (that can fold up into the pouch) with a 34 piece set (2 queens).

The set is nice, but the weight of the pieces are too light. Heavier weighted pieces would make the set a five star.

First, I needed a set that was affordable enough that I could leave one in each car and have one in my desk. Now, I'm ordering more for my Cub Scout den and for the chess club at the high school where I teach. This set fits on the smaller desks, and I can put several sets into the limited storage area that I have available.

At this price, I'm able to have everyone playing at the same time.

I was looking for an easily carried coffee house size chess board - one that could be used on a Paris coffee table. This one is perfect.

good quality for price & great for the malls. the mall near me has lots of tables near the food court & games store and many people play chess there. this smaller board fits the tables better than the full size 20" boards, and the plastic is easy to clean

Just like the ever-popular Club Special sets that are unweighted, this set continues that tradition. Cheap, durable, easy to see, pieces sized appropriately for the squares. But when I brush my sleeve against a piece, it goes right over. Sounds petty but is irritating after a while. It IS just the right size for following along with a book, and the pieces will just fit in a Twining's tea tin. However, I recommend the House of Staunton Analysis set. Its pieces are heavier and not prone to tipping, though a little bigger too.
