9.5" x 7.5" Padded Chess Pieces Bag

Nothing special about the bag itself. Does what it is supposed to do. Hold chess pieces. I do wonder why my plastic Dubrovnik chess pieces are quite snug in the bag. The King is 3 1/4". I think that the Dubrovnik set I have has widder bases than the basic club pieces. Just be aware that not all sets are created equal. The Dubrovnik set does fit, just very snug.

Quality of items

This bag is well padded, and roomy enough to fit 34 pieces of a smaller set, under 3” king. Otherwise buy two bags, one for each color of pieces if you have an over 3” king set. It has a nice canvas material on the outsiide, and a soft thick padding on the inside. The pieces are protected and secure so they don’t slide around and rattle around in the bag. What would make it next level and perfect would be a small grab handle of some sort. I recommend it.

Padding feels good enough to protect my previous order of 3 3/4" Heavy Club & Tournament Chess Pieces - Half Set - 17 Pieces.
Playing with a smaller scale set, you might get two armies in one bag.

Great little bag. Nicely padded and will hold a full set of pieces.

Nice and convenient to have for quick game analysis at Chess Tournaments!

These bags are nice, but make sure you read the description -- a full-size tournament set (eg.g, sets with a 4"+ King) will _not_ fit! I should have read the description first.

I would be nice if the product title said something about it being for small sets. It would also be nice if the description had a link to a similar bag that is large enough to hold a full-size set.

these are very nicely padded.

These sets work well in a classroom because they fit well on a single student desk. The pieces seem small at first but you can play a good game on them with no problem. My only ask would be that the pouches for the sets are about 2x larger than they need to be and thus make packing and transport less easy. They are however well padded and protect the pieces nicely. Another ask would be for board loops to be included in the pouches as then board and pieces can be kept together easier.

Chess piece bags arrived fast. They are very handy organizers. They will keep one side of pierces ready for the next game. No more hunting for pieces.

Great Bags, they bags are the "Cats Meow!"

Students will be able to use this set very well. Thanks.

***** stars, GREAT SERVICE!!!

I bought 20 of these chess bags for our club (https://menloparkchess.club) to hold the heavy triple-weighted plastic sets with extra queens which Chess House, US Chess and other suppliers sell under various names and they are just the right size to accommodate all the pieces, keeping them snug while the bag is zipped. Time will tell how long they last (one never knows about the zippers) but they look great and the padding is a nice touch. Chess House did a great job with packaging and shipping--the bags arrived in great shape and far quicker than I would have thought. Thanks for the great product, price and service!

It works, does the job, no problem. Note (of course) it holds the pieces, but not the board.

Purchased the new academy plastic chess set from world chess shop. The pieces are close to tournament size even though king is 3.4 inches high. Was looking for a bag that would fit these pieces comfortably. Bag is perfect size for this set.

Excellent!

I work in Iraq and I am helping some of my co-workers improve their game. My tournament set is just too big for the space we have but your smaller set is an excellent fit and looks just like its big brother.

Bag is very nice. Would be great for full size chess set. Way too big for small analysis set.

Its a nice padded bag that came with the mini Marshall plastic chess set with the 14 inch vinyl board.

The material is good, its padded well and has a good zipper.

If you are looking to fit a small vinyl board there is no place for it with this bag. Look at other options on this website.

I am able to fit the 2 7/8 Marshall Plastic weight chess pieces. They fit just right with room to spare.

In all its a decent bag.

Safety for my nice rosewood pieces; fits easily into any of my packs or bags. These are my favorite chess piece bags.

nice bag

9.5" x 7.5" Padded Chess Pieces Bag

ok

I was looking for padded bags to help protect chess pieces. This bag works perfectly. The bag is well-made, with a sturdy zipper opening with double seams, and inexpensive. This padded bag feels like it will do a better job protecting the pieces than an unpadded bag. I recommend it.

Well-made, durable chess bag. The zippers on this one are hardier than those on similar bags from other retailers that I've ordered. I love that it's just a hair smaller than most of the bags that will accommodate a 20" board. Because of the slightly smaller size, it will NOT accommodate a mouse-pad style board. No matter how tightly I tried rolling it up, the velcro style board retention stra
