I own dozens of chess sets, of various materials. This is one of my favorites for play and analysis. I like the look and feel of the design. The pieces are very light, which I prefer for certain applications. They’re very inexpensive, so you don’t have to worry about damaging them. At $7, you simply can’t go wrong.
I am kind of impressed with this set; nice pieces, especially for the cost. One of the nicest knights I've seen for a low-cost set. The pieces are light, but I already planned to put some weight in the bases. Very cool.

Completely happy with this set. I wanted a light weight set to take to the cafe and beach. At this price you couldn't ask for a better set.
Bought this set hoping for the solid plastic set known as the club special at other online sellers. This set is a hollow set with a washer glued to the bottom.. unlikely to hold up to rough use. I tried to look over all the reasonably priced plastic sets but the product description doesn't give a clue which sets, if any, are solid plastic. Oddly, the replacement pieces do offer this info. This set is not terrible but isn't what I wanted. I'll just give it to a kid that needs a set.
Nobody sells chess pieces like these in my country, so I ordered them along with a grey vinyl board, and the combination is beautiful.

I ordered these pieces along with a vinyl board and bag as a gift for a beginner chess player. I also may order another set of the pieces and board as an analysis set. I find it amazing the quality we can get for such low prices as in these plastic pieces. This set has good detail and weight, better than expected for the low price.
Customer service was excellent as usual and finally I like that Chess House does not sell products made by child labor.
