A quality Board
Excellent quality!
Excellent purchase. Use it for reviewing chess openings, Well made
A nice board. Not elegant, but nice. Good for the money. Want a nicer board? Pay more. I am a decent woodworker and could have made a nicer board myself, but this board probably costs less, and certainly took less time than doing it myself. I just wanted something of sufficient quality quickly. This fit the bill and as already said good for the money.
It's exactly what you'd expect it to be and got here in less than a week.
Very nice craftsmanship, well worth the cost. It took awhile for it to arrive, but well worth the wait.
Nice wooden board with 2" squares. Works OK with 3 3/4" Emisario plastic chess pieces although some might prefer 2 1/4" squares. It's a step up from the vinyl roll-up boards.
Es fantástico, ¡me gusto mucho! y el material muy resistente y elegante.
Espero y pronto tengan en almacén las piezas de madera que estoy esperando.
Gracias.
I love this chess board. I bought the 19 inch for travel. The chess pieces fit on it well, and I am happy with it. I will be taking it to Ecuador, and leaving it there along with the World's Best Chess Set, so I can play an practice every time I return to my wife's home, in South America.
Everything on your site is on back Oder.
With the welcomed resurgence of chess (thank you Queens Gambit), my set was understandably delayed.
The CEO personally emailed to thank me for the patience and let me know that Chess House was ‘on it’.
The board and pieces and the board dont match, but... is what it is.
The pieces nicely are nicely weighted and the i LOVE that there are notations on the board. Makes studying moves MUCH easier.
awesome board, very well made.
Very nice board. Given as a gift. Just wish it had come with chess pieces. But if you are just looking for a board, this is an excellent one.
This I was bought as a gift. Beautiful board.
Beautiful and great quality board. Very happy with the purchase. Arrived exactly as promised
My board is great for tournaments or home analysis. It complements the chess pieces I ordered to go with it perfectly.
I would have given this 5 stars except the first board that arrived had a small scratch. However, the folks at Chesshouse were fantastic and immediately sent me s replacement board that they checked over before sending to me. The replacement board that is very well made , and I’m enjoying it very much with the new pieces .
Great board, perfect for 3.5" pieces.

Gorgeous board, well made. Shipped and arrived quickly. Very well protected in shipping.
It's a massive board. I'm genuinely surprised by how big 19 inches actually is. I got the walnut one and it is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for the price. Goes well with ebonized pieces. Also quite a thick board!
