The chess is beautiful and really ties in the room, but that's not the only reason I'm giving it five stars. When it arrived a piece of one of the white pawns and the crown of the black were broken, but after contacting the customer service they were able to send replacement pieces free of charge. So not only is the set amazing, but the customer support is top notch. Highly recommend!
Great board. Love the pieces. Very Good Quality
Even nicer looking in person and seems to be solid construction
The items are “quality” and the packing was truly professional. Communication regarding order status and shipping status was a model for other retailers.
My son LOVES playing chess and thinks his new chess set is awesome! After much deliberation with all the different sets across several websites, I decided to purchase this set for him. It really is well made and beautiful in person and the felt drawers are lined for storing your pieces. He has since taught me and his sister how to play and we have been enjoying spending time together every evening playing. This definitely turned out to be a wonderful gift for all of us. Thank you, Chess House! :)
This set was a gift for my son for his 16th birthday. He looked at quite a few before deciding on this one. He is very pleased. We love the drawers to put the pieces away when the little ones visit.
Thanks
This is a perfect chess set for a busy household...attractive and sturdy enough to leave on the table mid-game (if necessary). The pieces have good weight and the built-in drawers make storage easy. There are less expensive sets available, but considering the fine quality, this one is a bargain.
Great board. Love the pieces. Great to have the drawers.
Ordered this set for my grandson's 12 birthday. It's a beautiful set and he was thrilled. He will have it for many years to come! Two of the pieces arrived slightly damaged. After contacting customer service, they promptly replaced the pieces. It all took less than a week!
I would highly recommend ordering from this company.
Is there a chance to get replacement pieces if they arrive broken?
Yes! That's we are always available to assist if you need pieces immediately or years in the future =)
