About The 19" Consul Wooden Chess Set

Stylish 19 inch "Consul" is a unique chess set that will be cherished by anyone that loves chess. Special chess piece styling with opposing king and queen colors, plus unique, fine carving make the whole set a special one to own. Experienced, Polish artists create for you this intricate rope-style, hand-etched surface, borders, and pieces, for a set that's hard to find and desirable.

The folding chess board lays easily, trim and flat. You are even treated with "algebraic" coordinates, a rarity among wooden chess sets. This chess set is not magnetic. It's large and a pleasant chess set to play or use as a unique decorative chess set.

19” Consul Set

We love it!

Lovely Chess Set - Nice Quality!

We’re very pleased with this chess set. The quality is excellent and it’s a bonus to be able to store everything compactly. The owner communicates through the whole process which is admirable - we received the set very promptly. We highly recommend Chess House.

19 inch "Consul" wooden chess set

I wanted to learn chess and wanted as my first set to be a classic looking wooden chess set that had decent size to it, a board that folds up and stores the chess pieces neatly. This set looks great and hits the target on all my needs. Price was very reasonable for the size and quality.

Nice Set

Purchased this as a Christmas gift. The set exceeded expectations. The board and pieces are good looking, the pieces have some weight to them, nothing tips over easily. I would recommend this if asked.

Tim

The chess set ts beautiful. It's a Christmas gift. It is very well crafted. This will be a gift that will be handed down for generations. Very impressed!!

Stunning Chess Set

This is a Christmas gift and I’m excited to present this to the recipient I’m sure he will be very pleased with the quality of this set.

Nice quality set shipped quickly. My son loves his gift

First Chess Set

Just got started playing the game. I always wanted to learn. Chess set is very nicely made. Carving and wood have beautiful finish on them. Only complaint is pieces have strong clear coat smell to them. I would still recommend this set it is perfect size.

Beautiful Set

Beautiful chess set for our grand daughter.
The packing had the little styrofoam ‘bullets’’ that made a mess on floor when opening.
Everything else as advertised
